About us
Lindsay Beckman & Co Ltd is located in the pretty and historic village of Broadway, on the edge of the Cotswold Hills. Established in 1997 and trading from our current premises since 2025.
Our offices offer a comfortable and professional environment for our clients. Located on the ground floor, the premises are fully accessible for disabled visitors and includes a dedicated meeting room designed to make discussions relaxed and productive. ​There is ample parking available immediately outside, making visits easy and convenient. If preferred, we are also happy to meet you at your own office or home, whichever works best for you.
In April 2025, Charlotte took over the leadership of the firm, continuing our tradition of personalised service and trusted advice. While Lindsay remains involved as a consultant, ensuring her values remain at the heart of everything we do.
We tailor our services to meet each individual client’s needs, offering expert advice on VAT, tax planning, capital gains tax, and business development, in addition to the usual accounts preparation and tax return services you'd expect from your Chartered Accountants.

Charlotte joined Lindsay Beckman & Co Ltd in November 2023 and took over the leadership of the firm in April 2025.
She graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2008 with a degree in Biology and Sports Science, later deciding to pursue a career in accountancy after completing various work experience placements – including time at the firm. Charlotte qualified as a Chartered accountant in 2013 and has since developed broad experience advising businesses across various sectors.
She enjoys building close relationships with clients, supporting them with their accounts, tax returns and cloud based accounting systems.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two young children, and their French bulldog. She enjoys country walks, cooking, and family time — especially taking her children out on their ponies, Bobby and Crystal. Charlotte has also proudly represented Great Britain in Biathle, competing in Germany, Italy and all over the UK.
Rachel Turner

Rachel joined the practice in 1997 when it was first established, initially working part time. As the practice grew and the needs of the clients grew with it, she started specialising in bookkeeping, wages and VAT work.
She now works full time, maintaining clients’ books and records, preparing VAT returns, trading statements and accounts and is in charge of all things relating to wages, PAYE and pensions for employees.
Rachel is married to Kevin and in her spare time she enjoys horse-riding with her daughters and grandchildren, wildlife holidays, walking her dogs, knitting and crocheting.

After leaving school in Cheltenham, Lindsay went on to University College London, obtaining a degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 1978.
Deciding that the life of a research chemist was not for her, she went on to train as a Chartered Accountant at the largest independent practice in the South West, qualifying in 1983. She went on to become a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1993. After qualifying, she gained experience at two practices before establishing her own accountancy firm in
Broadway in 1997.
When she’s not working, Lindsay likes to visit the Lake District for walking holidays and France for skiing. She loves all things food related and also enjoys ballroom and Latin dancing.
